Twitter is arguably the most used social media tool out there and it is continuing to grow each and every month. With 140 characters you are able to tell your followers basically anything that you want from what you had to lunch to what you are working on at the moment. Twitter is an amazing tool but like any tool it needs to be used carefully.

Twitter Followers – The reasons on why you are using Twitter should dictate what type of followers you are trying to attract. If you are just interested in conversing with a large number of people than it is fine if you follow everyone and anyone. However if your Twitter is for business than you need to be a lot more selective. There are a number of Twitter management tools that will enable you to put forward a Twitter search as specific as a user who lives in a Waco Texas who is interested in making money online. If you are looking for potential customers you need to make sure that is who you are following and that is who is following you.

Spamming Fellow Tweeters – Spam is not appreciated anywhere on the web so if you continuously run tweets that are trying to sell something your followers will not be following you for very long. I personally try to use a one in ten or even a two in ten where the majority of my links are interesting news and the others are specific to the product I am trying to promote. The last thing that you want is all of your Twitter posts to sound the same.

3. Cold Selling Does Not Work – If you are thinking I am going to get 10,000 Twitter followers and than bombard them with sales messages which will lead to a massive increase in my bank account I hate to break it to you but this will not work. A bazillion different reasons but the main two being the economy is still struggling and people have become much more blind to ads. Twitter is like anything else you need to back up what you say and when your competing against so many other people your Tweets need to stand out to get attention.

4. Time – Twitter is like anything else online and it takes time to build up a loyal following and for whatever the reasons too many webmasters use Twitter as their only means of promotion which is a costly mistake. Twitter can pay off huge but it is dangerous to put all of your eggs in one basket.

In closing Twitter is an explosive tool that shows know sign of slowing down but it is essential that you realize from the start what your main objective is to using this powerful tool. Build up your Twitter followers, nurture the relationships and create a strong social network are the key areas to keep in mind.

Are you looking for a way to monetize Twitter? Making money on Twitter is easier than you think! Thousands of people are making large incomes from twitter in their spare time. How much you make depends on not necessarily how hard you work but more importantly, how smart you work! If you intend to only use twitter as the social network it was intended to be, you can stop reading now! However, if you wish to use twitter as a way to get more traffic to you business, website, or blog: make money by selling your own digital product or affiliate offer, building your list, then keep reading. Twitter can do all of this!

Think of twitter as a database of millions of people thirsty for information. Why else would they be on twitter in the first place. They are looking for interaction from real people! Most are looking for other people who are tweeting about things they are also interested in. They create a network of like-minded people who tweet about a particular subject and that attracts more people. There are millions of these “conversations” happening everyday on twitter. What if you could slip into one of these groups and provide some information that would be beneficial to the conversation? People would take notice. Where else can you get this type of attention but on twitter? Nowhere! Even the best SEO tactics or email list is unable to deliver such a direct response.

Lets get to the specifics of making money. There are really only five steps to making money on twitter.

1. Create a Twitter Account – Use a name that relates to your product or niche.
2. Find affiliate products that you can market by including links in your tweets.
3. Build your list of followers with thousands of targeted users that are interested in what you are selling.
4. Send automated tweets and messages with your affiliate links to your followers with Tweet Adder software!
5. Collect your affiliate paychecks!

Those are the basic steps, but let me expand on these a bit.

I am going to assume that you know how to create a twitter account. If you don’t, go to twitter.com and follow the prompts. Now, don’t underestimate your twitter settings, it’s a huge part of your success. You want to select an account name that reflects your niche or product. But it doesn’t stop there, take advantage of your profile picture, a good picture is going to attract more followers. Let me say right now, more followers = more money! Under “account” make sure you you include an affiliate or website link in the “More Info URL” and a description in “One Line Bio” This is usually the first place where followers will check you out! Make sure the “Protect my tweets” is unchecked. You want anybody to be able to access your tweets. The more followers, the better! The more twitter accounts you have the more followers you will get!

There are many theories on finding the right product to sell. If you have your own product, problem solved. However, if you don’t have a product there are many affiliate products or PLR on the internet, It would take another article to discuss ways to pick the best niche or product to sell!

Building your list of followers is probably the most important part of your twitter campaign. Without followers, you are limited to the number of potential customers. So, how do you get more followers? There are only two ways to get more followers – manually or automatically. If you go with the manual option, be prepared to spend a lot of time on twitter finding and following other peoples followers who are interested in your niche or product. If you use an automation tool like Tweet Adder, you can follow other people by selecting keywords that pertain to your particular niche! This will save a tremendous amount of time! You can get up to the maximum of followers a day allowed by twitter on autopilot ( 500 followers a day ).

Once you have a following, you will want to publish tweets that have you’re affiliate link enclosed. When one of your followers click on your link, they will be redirected to your offer. Twitter goes on 24/7. Do you? The best way to take advantage of the worldwide audience is to have your offers available at any time. The manual aspect now becomes a full-time job.

Once you go automated, you can set up your tweets to run 24/7 in a few minutes. Tweet Adder allows you to schedule your tweets to run anytime, any day. More importantly. you can set up your first DM to your new followers. Tweet Adder will send a DM to any new follower automatically with a special message ( Thanks for the follow, check out my special offer http;/www.myspecialoffer.com ), are you getting it now? If you want to make money with twitter, Tweet Adder is the way to go! You can also select the period of time a person has to follow you back before they are deleted. You don’t want your following and followers ratio to be more than 1:4. You can also set this up in Tweet Adder.

Once you have your twitter profiles set up to run on autopilot (Tweet Adder can handle unlimited accounts), you can watch your followers and profits grow! So now you can see how easy it is to make fast money with Tweet Adder! tweet your way to riches by following these 5 easy steps!

Read realistic info about Free Backlinks – please make sure to read the publication. The time has come when proper info is really within your reach, use this possibility.

For most of us on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and other social sites we aren’t too concerned about safety. Well bullying, pedophiles, stalking, and other crimes are now a priority social networkers should have. Some time ago I have been pretty open on my Facebook page, although there is a stark difference between being open and being stupid. Here are 5 ways to protect yourself and your identity.

1. Keep Private Info Secret
People Everyone doesn’t need to know your individual information. Never put in writing your social security number, address, and phone number out there. Only give it to people you know personally. Also, be selective about the people you add. You never know who may turn out to be a hacker, stalker, or someone trying to pinch your identity. Also consider using a user name that isn’t your actual name. And don’t tweet where you are because that makes you easy to follow or even break into your house.

2. Beware of Strangers
Although this might seem a little elementary, there’s nothing wrong with a review course. Some people that might seem like friends could actually be spammers that just want to hijack your account. Or they may just want to get traffic to their links. If you don’t know them, and your friends don’t know who they are, don’t add them.

3. Odd Behavior
If friends on social sites seem to be acting odd, don’t receive gifts from them or open their messages. Someone may have hacked into their system so who you thought was a friend really isn’t. So, if you have a friend pushing “muenster cheese is the best” but you know they’re a vegan. Then it’s probably a warning that you shouldn’t click on the URL. It could be a malicious program that will mess up your computer.

4. Shortened URLs
Some URLs for web site addresses are really long and as a result by using tools like bit.ly you can have a link with a shortened URL. While these may be handy, they can also allow scammers and spammers the power to hide where you are actually going. If it’s possible make sure to preview the URL before you go onto it. An easy rule is that if you can’t make out where the link is going, don’t click on it.

5. Be aware of your Secrecy Options
All of these social media tools allow you to adjust your security settings to a specific point. Make sure that you assess and alter them to the highest privacy setting they allow. However, don’t set the settings so great that the tools don’t work appropriately. Many of these settings are not the default so make sure that you modify them so some random visitor can’t find your info through the search engine. If you dislike or are anxious about some of the privacy settings on the site, then don’t use it. Look for a different site that meets your privacy protection standards. Regularly examine and improve your browser privacy settings.

Social sites can be awesome. You can reconnect with old friends, improve existing relationships, and at the same time make new friends. Just be cautious about what information you are putting up there, and take into account these 5 ways to keep yourself and your identity safe and sound.

You can’t read a blog, a newspaper, or graffiti on the subway wall these days without seeing something about Twitter. The microblogging service has taken over the public consciousness in a way only technology can – there is a certain inevitability to the way people talk about Twitter now. Major social networks have adapted their own offerings to include “status updates” and micro-sharing capabilities. The “gold rush” is on, and with it come the charlatans who claim to know exactly how to make millions on Twitter.

Here’s the one thing to remember from this article: the owners of Twitter do not have a business model. There are ways to make money, but they haven’t picked one yet. Although Twitter (or something like it is here to stay, no one has cracked the code on how it can pay for itself. It seems ridiculous to think that any of the snake oil salesmen know any better. Even worse, these systems only fuel the proliferation of Twitter spammers. Put away your wallet – you are not going to make money from these jokers.

It’s not all doom and gloom, however; gradually, a model is emerging that looks a lot more like a traditional advertising model. From an advertiser’s perspective, Twitter is just another “media buy,” and Twitter users are channels within that media. This may be boring, and it may be old school, but it offers a road toward best practices in Twitter marketing. You don’t need to pay me anything to get my secret: I think the best idea for making money on Twitter is niche tweeting.

Niche blogging (sometimes called “Bum Marketing,” after Travis Sago’s claim that he could teach a homeless person how to do it) involves writing keyword-rich content on blogs and article services so that people searching for information on those keyword topics will find the article, learn something, and (hopefully) make a purchasing decision that benefits the author. They may click on an affiliate link, they may see an ad on the blog that points them toward a store. The route is not as important as attracting attention and providing quality content.

Let me say that again: the key to success is attention and quality content. That’s all you need – and in fact one of the great advantages of article marketing is that you don’t have to spend a mint to get started. You just have to care about what you’re writing about, use keyword phrases liberally, and stay focused on writing lots and lots of blog posts and articles.

The same approach can work on Twitter. Rather than a blog, you have a tweetstream, but in both cases the content is focused on a particular topic or cluster of related topics. For that reason, Twitter can compliment an existing blog marketing effort. But it can also stand alone. There are many services that allow companies to market their products on Twitter. Magpie, Tweetbucks, Adjix and Sponsored Tweets all give Twitter Users a way to make some money by “renting ad space” within their timeline. A Twitter account that’s committed to providing quality information can also find affiliate partners that make sense for a given niche and let their followers know that they trust and like those products. Just remember: you need attention and quality for those ads and affiliate links to make you any money.

Another good use of Twitter is as a rapid prototyping tool for potential blog ideas. Don’t have a blog about web hosting? No problem – start a Twitter account first and test the waters. See what kind of play you get, how many people follow you, where their interests lie. The great thing is that, if you do go ahead with a blog, you have a built-in audience in your Twitter following. You’ve proven that you’re a quality source of information, and so you’ve earned the attention that the blog receives.

This is not rocket science, and neither is my last tip: be sure to make use of the many free tools for niche tweeters early and often. There are all kinds of ways to find followers, automate your tweets, and build an audience that don’t involve being lame. Research the tools that work for you and stick to them. Many of them are “freemium” tools, so if you become a Twitter mogul, upgrade away. In the meantime, you can do just fine with free tools.

Good luck, and happy niche tweeting!

Great News! It is doable to optimize your Twitter profile for search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing! For starters; you must think of why you’re on Twitter in the 1st place, who you are attempting to urge to scan your updates and what kind of price you decide on to bring to the table. So before you are taking day out of your day for this make positive you have those basic premises addressed first. A twitter profile is just a page on the web, and any page on the internet will be optimized using all of the same techniques that normal SEO is based off of. There is on-page and off-page seo, for the most half, you are in management of them both. Your tweets are the content, your bio is your meta description and does show up in search results, your username is placed in your profile pages search engine friendly url and your profile has its own rss feed that you’ll optimize and re-publish as well. This is half one among 3 posts on how to optimize your Twitter profile therefore keep reading.

Twitter Username – This is often one in every of the most necessary steps to building your profile and your online reputation. Make positive to settle on your personal name, nick name, your brand or corporations name or the way you would like to be found (example: @floridaphoto as this could show up twitter.com/floridaphoto). Your Twitter name is just as important as the title tag in your own webpage, be certain to be picky over what text you utilize to fill this in with (example: Florida Photo NOT: Florida Photo Co). Usually it’s best to treat the username just like you would select a site name, try not to place any dash’s (in twitter’s case an _underscore) in your username and make it as short as attainable and easy to remember while retaining some search value in it. Bear in mind: take it slow and suppose this out, once you begin building it. you are not visiting need to turn around and have to do it over once more from scratch with a different profile.
Twitter Url – Create positive to put your main blog or web site address here, do not place a link that has been shortened for tracking like the proper site analytics founded on your website you ought to be in a position to tell how several distinctive guests Twitter sends your way. It’s additionally vital to let individuals see your actual domain name, this may help people to recollect your web site, brand your company and build trust along with your followers in what is on the opposite facet of that link. Another hint; since twitter can solely show the first twenty characters of your domain name on your profile you are going to want to urge rid of the www before your domain name (in fact you would like to make certain that your dns settings are founded properly).
Twitter Bio – Here you have your profile’s meta description and what will show up on the search engine results pages (SERP’s) of any search that may list your Twitter profile as a result. With a total of 160 characters to fill out, you do not want to waste any characters on words that haven’t any search value. By putting something short, sweet and to the point while still using the main keywords in your space of expertise. Do create sure that your bio is upbeat and gives people a good idea of what your all regarding, once all no one goes to read into your tweets if your Twitter bio is boring!
Twitter Profile Photo – Yes of us, you’ll optimize your profile photo, although you are doing not have the flexibility to feature any alt tags to your photo, you sure can rename the photo itself before you upload it. You may also need to create sure to keep the dimensions of your photo down to beneath a 250 x 250 to help with faster load times. Thus as you’ll see in the image showing the images direct link that the name that I had renamed my photo before I uploaded it to my Twitter profile became the long tail SEO Social end of the pictures ultimate url. Something to be cautious regarding is when renaming your photo DO NOT LEAVE ANY SPACES IN THE FILE NAME! This doesn’t translate to a link terribly well and you will end up with some broken links for that image.

Twitter Rss Feed – It’s incredible what you’ll be able to do with an rss feed now-a-days! You’ll be able to move your content anywhere on the net, get email subscribers, place your own advertising in your Twitter feed, get traffic and reader statistics, click statistics, publish your feed in an html format, give subscribers the ability to share the items on your feed with their completely different social networks and lots a lot of! In order to accomplish this I recommend using Feedburner to burn your Twitter feed, there are more services to use but since Google happens to own Feedburner you are able to enroll along with your Gmail account.
Currently before you get prior yourself there is a small step that you wish to take before you may be ready to burn your profile’s Rss Feed… Let me explain… Your Twitter RSS feed is a locked feed and can’t be unlocked without using your username and password in a very sure format in front of your own Twitter RSS Feed. Therefore attend your Twitter profile copy your RSS feed and make it look EXACTLY like the RSS feed below, adding your own username and password just as it shows here. Once you have done this take your unlocked Twitter feed and burn it in your new Feedburner account.

If you’ll be able to see this, your browser does not
perceive IFRAME. However, we tend to’ll still
link
you to the file.

Ok, so currently you have got a Feedburner address that displays your Twitter updates, what to try and do currently? Well, there is a lot to do… 1st of all you are visiting want to go through the complete Feedburner dashboard and decide and choose the necessary options for your explicit use of this feed. You can set it up to ping the search engine’s when there are new RSS things, you can founded a pleasant title and outline for the feed, add a image, sharing widgets and a full ton more. You’ll be able to even set it to update different Twitter accounts right through Feedburner!
Of all the things that you will notice you can do together with your feed settings there is one that comes highly recomended by me; the “My Brand” option. If you own your own domain or have control of the DNS settings you’ll have the flexibility to flip your burned feeds address from a feeds.feedburner.com address to a feeds.yourdomain.com address, take my Twitter feed for example. This is nice for branding and building that trust in your domain.
Link Building – Your off-page seo is the foremost important part of your Twitter optimization project. You must make certain to list yourself in as many Twitter directories as possible while submitting your RSS feed to as many RSS feed directories as well. You can do your own social press releases linking to your various social media profiles and building quality one-means links pointing at your profiles. The a lot of time and effort you pay on building quality links the a lot of you will get out of it. So do not be afraid to spend some time on it.

This review is about a brand new method of generating a solidincome from twitter I’ve been hearing about. Its named across twitter recently.

Its all around predicting trends before they happen, and showing you exactly what to do to actually make the process work. Not only this but there are a few differences with this twitter system from those you may have seen before.

To start with this way of using twitter doesn’t even require a website to promote. Now I’m sure you will agree that isn’t like anything you may have heard before.

You can find out more at TAP Profit Funnel Review but for now, here are some of its key features:

1. This method doesn’t require a website.

2. You wont need a big list to make this work.

3. This is a plan designed to work in 2010.

4. The TAP Profit Funnel system is a complete method, and doesn’t require previous expertise.

5.You are led by the hand through the process. Full support is given.

6. No competition

Now Ill try and give you some tips that you can use right now that will help with your twitter campaign.

First of all is your twitter account name itself. To start with you should have your main keywords in your twitter account, and if you don’t you should.

Your twitter account name is the header for your twitter blog, and yes your twitter account is a blog. Not only is it a blog but its a blog on one of the biggest social networks there is, twitter.

Twitter has quickly grown into one of the largest social groups there is, and a marketers dream. With the ability to search for users by keywords, you not only have the means to track down your potential buyers, but also to initiate contact. This is a lot easier than sitting around, and just hoping they will come to you.

By using your main keywords in your twitter account name, you greatly increase your chances that your twitter account itself will appear in searches. Not only this but don’t forget that Google takes note of whether back links are from relevant websites. What could be more targeted and relevant, than an actual account with the same keywords in its own domain name.

Now your going to discover lots of great tips in the TAP funnel system but I don’t want to hold out on you, so Ill give you anothergreat one now.

Did you know your many people who are interested in your tweets don’t actually click your link, but rather the one in your profile. I found this out after intensive testing, and it turns out that up to twenty five percent of my clicks from twitter, actually came from the profile link.

Your going to learn far more than this at the TAP Profit Funnel so go check it out.

Read vital advice about website traffic – make sure to study this web site. The times have come when concise info is truly within one click, use this chance.
